Established in 1994 Glasshead is a multi BAFTA winning production company making dynamic television and multi-platform content.

Our documentary 'My Monkey Baby' transmited on Tuesday 2nd June at 10pm on Channel Four. The film, produced and directed by Lynn Alleway and executive produced by Jaine Harmston-Green and Lambros Atteshlis follows the extraordinary stories of American couples who treat monkeys as their own children. View the trailer above. 

We have just been nominated for an RTS education award for our film on Moroccan Maths that follows pupils of Sidi Bouskri School in Morocco plant and harvest their own olive trees. They sell the resulting oil in their local market and they’re using maths all the way.

2009 has brought Glasshead a raft of new projects and commissions.  We are delivering 'Just So Darwin', a 13-part animation series for the BBC, as part of the Darwin 200 anniversary. We have also just finished production of our third series of the wonderful children’s BBC drama 'Magic Grandad' which includes an episode on Charles Darwin.

Our documentary department is working on a number of projects for Channel 4 including several films for the Cutting Edge strand.

World renowned psychic, Tony Stockwell, fronts a new six-part series, Psychic Academy, for the Biography Channel. We have also just delivered a 13-part science series for ZDF with a second series imminent. In addition we are continuing to make programming for Teachers TV with various co-production partners, including EPSRC, STEMnet and World Skills. We have just been awarded funding to produce an astronomy series in partnership with Science and Technology Facilities Council to coincide with astronomy year.

Our interactive department is producing a range of online multimedia to support practitioners of the government's new Diploma courses.
