Bloodhound TV Show is finalist for the Japan Prize

We're very proud that our BBC 2 programme The Bloodhound Adventure has made the finals of this year's Japan Prize. The Japan Prize is one of the most prestigious international awards and it'll be a great honour if we win. Glasshead has won the prize before and we've previously short-listed twice.

From the race track to the airfield, from sky diving to water skiing, this programme looks at the challenges behind the development of the cutting edge car that will attempt to travel over 1,000mph.

Bloodhound SSC at Downing Street

It was great being invited to Number 10 Downing Street, as the Bloodhound show-car was parked outside and Bloodhound driver Andy Green met the prime minister. Above is a video, made from some of the footage which we shot on the day.

Bloodhound SSC (Super Sonic Car) is the fastest car in the world, aiming to reach 1000mph. We're the main production company working behind the scenes with plans to follow Bloodhound over the next two years. We aim to raise most of the money for our Bloodhound documentaries from sponsorship and we're currently in talks with major international broadcasters.

Cracking the Code

60 minutes for BBC 2

Minna Kane and her team of young hackers explore the world of computer programming. They meet the visual effects artists who work on Doctor Who, test out Formula One racing simulators, play football with robots, and meet a man who has sent his miniature computer into space.

You can watch clips from the show here.

Self Surgery

TLC has recently transmitted our latest shock doc Self Surgery in many different countries.

From backyard botox, DIY dentistry, to self administered sex change operations, increasing numbers of people are taking medical matters into their own hands. And some have even filmed their procedures...

Self Surgery follows eight people who've operated on themselves as they visit medical specialists to find out whether they've done permanent damage.
