Glasshead develops SixthSense

Marking a new concept in business intelligence, we have recently designed and developed a new website for the successful internet-based market research and polling company, YouGov. The site, branded as SixthSense what you need to know, when you need to know it – is aimed at both YouGov’s corporate client base and new clients. It delivers an holistic service providing the latest industry trends and consumer behaviours in the form of sector channels. A personalised dashboard feeds dynamic data from sister services, such as YouGov’s BrandIndex, which measures the public perception of 850 consumer brands on a daily basis.
Stephen Harmston, Head of SixthSense at YouGov said: “It was really important from the outset that the company we chose worked as a partner with us to deliver the site as we developed the service. That’s why we chose Glasshead. They’ve worked in double-quick time to get the site launched and are helping us to refine it as we get feedback from the businesses we are selling it to. This is a new concept in business intelligence and it is clear from early feedback that the dynamism of the service, with constantly updating data and trends delivered through a simple and easy to use interface, means it will really take off.”
Frankie O’Brien, Business Development Director for Glasshead said: “We are delighted with the development of our relationship with YouGov. They are known for their innovation and creativity, which will be further demonstrated in their daily polling in the run-up to the General Election. YouGov’s ethos and approach matches our own, so it’s an ideal partnership for us.”

We are delighted to announce the opening of our new Northern offices in Altrincham as from 1st December 2009. Frankie O'Brien is heading up this office, which intends to focus on digital media and animation. We hope the new offices will continue to drive our growing 360 output and help maintain our innovative and exciting approach to all media.
