Saving Nellie
Saving Nellie is a scripted drama that shows two teachers struggling to change their teaching to “save” their student Nellie’s interest in physics. Two teachers join forces and embark on a quest to invigorate physics in a last attempt to persuade pupil Nellie not to drop the subject.
It’s up to Eric (Nellie’s stuffy and old-fashioned physics teacher, played by James Fleet) to rescue the situation, and at the same time to revolutionise his teaching methods. Starring Helen Baxendale and James Fleet.
Magic Grandad

4 x 15 minutes for BBC
Production is underway on a new series of Magic Grandad looking at the lives of Amy Johnson, Charles Darwin, Mrs Beeton and the unknown soldier. Magic Grandad is played by Sam Kelly.

i-D&T
1 x 60 minutes for BBC
i-D&T shows Design & Technology in action in real industrial and commercial settings. Four case studies target key areas in the D&T curriculum for KS4 students, but also appeal to anyone interested in modern industrial processes.
'Resistant Material' looks at the design, manufacture and testing of a modern hand-built downhill mountain bike.
'Textiles Technology' shows the design and manufacturing processes involved in using advanced ‘smart’ textiles to make the latest fire-fighters’ outfit - and the dramatic testing required.
'Graphic Products' looks at the processes involved in printing and producing a modern large circulation full-colour magazine.
'Systems & Control' shows how motorway speed limits can be automatically adjusted to improve traffic flow and safety.

4 x 30 minutes for BBC
A series of four half hour programmes comprising ten location-based sections, each giving insights into the life and culture of the country as perceived by children.
Each programme links closely with cross-curricula schemes of work and includes key language relevant to primary KS1 and KS2 school children.
i-Maths
1 x 60 minutes for BBC
An hour of short, visually engaging and stylish mathematical sequences for teachers to use with secondary KS3 and KS4 pupils as starting points to look at the world in a mathematical way, and to discuss and investigate the maths they see.
Items include the maths of fairground rides, athletics, swimming and cycling, motorbike racing at the O2 Arena, traffic flows, magazine printing and the latest 3D graphics.
