Saving Nellie

Starring Helen Baxendale and James Fleet, Saving Nellie is a scripted drama that shows two teachers struggling to save their student Nellie’s interest in physics.

It’s up to Eric (Nellie’s stuffy and old-fashioned physics teacher, played by James Fleet) to rescue the situation, and at the same time to revolutionise his teaching methods. Joining forces with fellow teacher Helen (Helen Baxendale), the two teachers embark on a quest to invigorate physics, in a last attempt to persuade Nellie not to drop the subject.
